In a day of firsts for RTC, the program embarked on what is sure to be an incredibly exhilarating and growth filled adventure together. The NCSYers boarded their respective busses in the 5 Towns and Teaneck, and departed to their first of many stops this summer: Pocono White Water Rafting. Each chaburah split up in a raft with their respective madrichim, and went along the 12 mile course filled with rapids and spontaneous water fights along the way! Following rafting, the program davened Mincha together, and boarded the busses for the Mount Laurel Resort – our base in the Poconos this week. Upon their arrival, the NCSYers ate dinner, followed by Maariv and the program orientation from the director, Avi Rosalimsky. The NCSYers then received their room keys and their RTC swag, and headed to sleep after a packed day. They can’t wait for their first full day tomorrow – the program is off to what can only be described as an amazing beginning!
